Carnaval New and Returning Student Welcome introduces and connects students to a variety of Chican@ Latin@ organizations and community, on and off campus. 

Día De Los Muertos Ceremonia is an evening long event with food, music, spoken word, and the creation of an altar give community members an opportunity to take part and celebrate the lives of those who have passed on.

Pachanga is an annual event that highlights Afro-Latino culture. Since the 16th century, Latino and African cultures have been heavily influenced by each other as a result of the arrival of Africans to Latin America.

Cesar Chavez Convocation honors the memory and struggle of César Chávez, Civil Rights activist who fought for the social justice and labor issues of farm workers.
