Chicane Latiné Year-End Celebration

For decades, the El Centro has been hosting the annual Chicane Latiné Year-End Ceremony (CLYEC). This year’s CLYEC will be hosted in person on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 1 p.m. on the East Upper Field. 2025 will mark the 53rd anniversary of our Chicane Latiné Year End Ceremony–a bilingual celebration for all graduating students, undergraduate and graduate, and their families. During the bilingual ceremony, there are danzantes, live musical performances, and powerful keynote speakers.
CLYEC is a community celebration organized by El Centro and not a degree-conferring event. Students may sign up for their College Commencement and El Centro’s Chicane Latiné Year-End Ceremony.

Registration for the 2024-25 Chicane Latiné Year-End Celebration is now closed. If you missed the deadline, don’t worry—you’re still welcome to attend! Simply arrive on the day of the event with up to five guests. We won’t turn anyone away.
Cultural graduation stole distribution
El Centro distributed 300 free cultural stoles on a first-come, first-served basis.
